Financing Energy Retrofits & Investments in CRE: A C-PACE Discussion
Wednesday, December 2, 2026 (8:00 AM - 9:30 AM) (EST)
Description

Join CREDA Massachusetts for an important discussion on Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) and how developers can use the program to help finance projects across the Commonwealth.
C-PACE allows owners of commercial, industrial and multifamily properties with five or more units to finance eligible energy and resiliency improvements through long-term financing of up to 20 years. In recent years, policymakers have implemented a number of changes aimed at expanding the program’s reach, including allowing C-PACE financing for new construction and increasing financing limits for applicants.
As development costs and financing challenges continue to make projects more difficult to advance, C-PACE can provide another tool for developers looking to close financing gaps, fund energy improvements and move projects forward.
Join expert panelists for a discussion on program eligibility, recent changes intended to make C-PACE more accessible, how the financing works in practice, and examples of how developers in Massachusetts and other states have used C-PACE to help move projects forward.
